How to Add Products Using a CSV File and CSV Product Sample

Adding a product with a new category in the system is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth process:

Navigate to Import Products

Go to the "Product List" section and select "Import Products."

Open the Import Products Modal

• Click the Import button located in the top-right corner of the Product List page.
• The "Import Products" modal will appear.

Enter Product Information

Complete the fields in the "Import Products" modal:

• Classification: Select the appropriate classification from the dropdown menu.
• Category: Type a new category name if it doesn’t already exist.
• Sub-Category: Enter a new sub-category if required.
• Brand: Choose an existing brand or create a new one by typing its name.
• Made in Country: Specify the product’s country of origin.

Prepare the Import File

• Download a sample CSV template by clicking Download Sample.
• Fill in the template with the product details, including the new category and sub-category names.
• Save the file in the correct format.

Upload the Import File

• Click the Upload button in the "Import File" section.
• Select your completed CSV file from your computer.

Save and Confirm

• Review the uploaded details to ensure accuracy.
• Click Save to complete the import process.

Verify the Product Addition

Return to the Product List page and search for the newly added product to confirm that it, along with the new category, has been successfully added.
